NOT GUILTY of Aggravated Assault

June 20th, 2012 09:16:13 pm

Client was arrested for attempted murder after hitting the alleged victim in the head with a large rock.  The victim was severely injured and almost died from the wound.  The victim survived and the state eventually charged the client with aggravated assault.  The client had two prior felony convictions and was on probation.  The state made a rediculous offer so the case went to trial.  After almost three weeks in trial, the jury acquitted the client and found him not guilty.  The client was eventually released from probation and now enjoys his freedom.

Armed Robbery case dismissed

Armed Robbery case dismissed.  Client and his accomplice were accused of an aggravated assault and armed robbery.  Both were charged in separate cases and represented by different attorneys.  Through his investigation, Rick was able to locate and interview key witnesses, and he found valuable evidence helping to prove his client innocent, none of which the police were able to find.  After the interviews and evidence were shared with the prosecution, the state had no alternative and dismissed the case.

Attempted Child Molest Case Dismissed

Client was charged with attempting to molest a child and the client claimed he was innocent.  The State claimed that it had DNA evidence, other admissible evidence, and witnesses for the case.  In fact, the DNA was inconclusive, there was no other evidence, and the witnesses lacked credibility.  The client refused to accept any plea and insisted on going to trial.  Even after the trial started, the State was not able to produce any credible witnesses or evidence.  When the client refused to accept a plea even after the trial started, the State finally concluded that it could not proceed to trial and dismissed the case.
