Rick's client was accused of misconduct involving weapons (possessing a weapon while being a prohibited possessor) because the client had several prior felony convictions. The client rejected any plea agreement and the case proceeded to trial where he was acquitted after a jury trial. This case was especially successful because the client was tried in absentia (the client was not present during trial) which almost always suggests guilt. |
